Purposes for which I process your personal data

1. Newsletter

By subscribing to the newsletter, you provide me with your e-mail address and name via the newsletter subscription form. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to subscribe to the newsletter. This data is used to send you the newsletter, and the legal basis for their processing is your consent. The data will be processed for the duration of the newsletter, unless you unsubscribe from receiving it earlier, which will result in your data being deleted from the database. You can correct your data saved in my newsletter database at any time, as well as request their removal by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The data is processed within the ConvertKit mailing system and stored on a server provided by ConvertKit LLC.

2. Contact using the form

When contacting us via the contact form, you provide me with your e-mail address and name and surname. It is up to you whether you provide additional data in the content. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to contact me. In this case, your data is processed for the purpose of contacting you. The basis for data processing is your consent. You have the right to request the history of your correspondence and you can demand its removal, unless retaining the correspondence is justified by my interest (e.g. protection against claims).

3. Comments

To add a comment to a blog article, you must provide your e-mail address and name and surname. It is up to you whether you provide additional data in the content. Providing data is voluntary, but necessary to add a comment on the blog. The data provided when adding a comment is used to publish the comment. The basis for their processing is your consent. The data will be processed for the duration of the comments' existence on the blog, unless you previously ask to delete the comment, which will result in deletion of your data from the database. You can correct your data assigned to the comment at any time, as well as request its deletion and transfer.

4. Marketing

We use marketing tools such as Facebook Pixel to target ads to you. This involves the use of Facebook cookies. As part of the cookie settings, you can decide whether you consent to our use of Facebook Pixel in your case or not.

Entrusting the processing of personal data

Your data may be processed by third parties to whom I commission specific activities related to ensuring the proper functioning of the website. Entities to which I commission the processing of personal data guarantee the application of appropriate means of protection and security of personal data required by law. The entities I entrust with data processing are:

Microsoft Azure - to store personal data on the server,

ConvertKit LLC (California, United States of America) - to use the mailing system in which your data is processed, if you have subscribed to the newsletter.

Server logs

By using my website, you send queries using your device to the server where my website is stored. Logs include, among others: IP address, server date and time, information about the web browser and operating system you are using. Logs are saved and stored on the server. Server logs are only auxiliary material used to administer the website. Their contents are not disclosed to anyone. Data saved in server logs are not associated with specific people using the website and are not used to identify specific people.

Cookies

Cookies (so-called 'cookies') are IT data that are stored on your end device. I use two basic types of cookies on the website: session and persistent. Session cookies are temporary files that are stored on the user's end device until logging out, leaving the website or turning off the software (web browser). Persistent cookies are stored on your end device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until you delete them.

Option I - explicit consent to cookies

Option II – implied consent through browser settings
